Taking two weeks out, but have allowed myself a one-day hiatus in my news and internet lockdown. Turns out it's a pretty significant one for Libyans.

Al-Jazeera has a liveblog with videos, as does the Guardian (compare and contrast with Russia Today's coverage). The New York Times has an interesting piece on Qaddafi's use of the media and disinformation. The Washington Post features analysis on what happens next and how the Transitional National Council will seek to guide the country through the vital next weeks. As always, follow Global Voices special coverage to keep abreast of social media and blog reaction from within Libya and neighbouring countries.
